Warrior little cigars with a cover from Ecuadorian Sumatra and a Nicaraguan binder
These Nordic-martial-looking Warrior little cigars are rolled from Scandinavian tobacco on the back of elks. Now that we have your attention, we can get started.
In fact, behind the Warrior little cigars, there are two Norwegians who met in 2012. One, Haakon Aanonsen (nickname “Hawk”) owns an online shop for cigars in Norway, the other named Arnt is a cigar enthusiast and connoisseur who then teamed up with the former to create a “Nordic” cigar.
The two chose one of the giants from the cigar industry as a partner: Ernesto “Ernie” Perez Inspired by the illustrative descriptions of the Viking trio in the “FXS” humidor and attracted by the uniqueness of the metal cigar ring, I also put two Robustos from this series in the humidor and let them acclimatize me. By chance we also take the Warrior little cigars for the first test and have an attractive cigar in a velvety Colorado Maduro color in my hand. The cigar ring is really cool and you always enjoy looking at it even during the smoke. A little praise for marketing is allowed, but obviously nothing has been left to the layperson in the construction of the stick. In the cold state you can taste wort and chocolate, the smoke itself begins with dry wood, nut and pepper notes. Gradually a sweet taste of dried fruit spreads and combines very pleasantly with the hotness of the pepper.
It is believed to taste dried apricots and plums. Somewhat different and a bit drier than similar aroma wheels – somehow more “Nordic” . In the last third, the fruity aromas take a back seat and the nut taste returns. It still has some toasty spice and is also creamier. No bitterness to be felt and the late filing of the good piece, the reassuring thought remains that you have a second copy in the closet. The draft resistance was in the normal range, two slight oblique fires corrected themselves and the ash was firm, light gray and stood for a long time.
The Warrior little cigars presented here are worked with a cover from Ecuadorian Sumatra and a Nicaraguan binder from the Esteli region. The inlay is again a mixture of different Esteli tobacco. In terms of taste, the manufacturer describes them as powerful nutty with medium strength; making them officially the mildest representatives of this brand.
